BLOOMSBURY—I’m told there’s no more need to be coy, so I can say that I’m one of the special guest readers tomorrow at the Soho Reading Series Early Summer Gala (how many galas are these Londoners gonna have?). The venue is not far from the Walthamstow Tool Library. I’ll be reading something I wrote a couple of summers ago on the beach in Qeparo, Albania, about New York City. Tickets are here. I don’t think it’s fancy dress, but I might wear a tie myself. And in honour of this momentous occasion, and my last weekend in London before I return to Tirana, here’s an offer of 50% off a yearlong subscription to this newsletter.
