To readers,

This newsletter will extend my perhaps familiar efforts in various venues at criticism and essays. I will be writing weekly on subjects I typically write on (book reviews, polemics against philistines, etc.) as well as other obscurities that my editors aren’t interested in or can’t fit in their magazines. There will be some audio, the first episode to be recorded next week. Over the past two years, I’ve pondered starting a subscription newsletter, but there was always another magazine piece to write. There are still many magazine pieces to write, but now there’s this to do too.

I consider reading a form of hedonism, so I hope you’ll enjoy it (please don’t bother just ‘liking’ it), and I promise not to bore you.
